“Project Deserve” is a project put together by a group of volunteers with the goal of giving back to underserved communities in Africa.
Our Vision
“Everyone deserves to have good quality healthcare irrespective of their economic status. We aim to provide this free of charge using our resources and donations from volunteers either in cash or in expertise.”
Our Mission
Our mission is to identify an underserved area, set it up for indigent people to visit virtually with a volunteer healthcare provider who would remotely see the patient with the help of a nurse who is physically present with the patient.
Based on the diagnosis, a prescription would be printed out for the patient to procure the medication and also provide to the patient any follow up recommendation.

Our Team
Dele Olajide
Dele Olajide is a telecoms solutions architect with long-term expertise and specialist skills in integrating financial business applications with trading system communications for capital markets. He was the CTO of Traderlynk Ltd and has worked closely with many major financial institutions including UBS, Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Deutsche Bank, Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. He is a longtime advocate for open source technologies and is currently a project and community leader at Ignite Realtime Software Foundation. Dele is the initiator and a co-volunteer on the “Project Deserve” project.
Dolly Ogbechie
Dolly Ogbechie is a multifaceted, solutions focused business and technology leader. She is the CEO of Mayven Technologies USA Inc, Mayven Provider Solutions (a DBA of Mayven Technologies USA Inc.) and co-volunteer on the “Project Deserve” project. Dolly is passionate about mentoring the youth, helping them develop good character and vision for a focused life. She loves to volunteer in her community. Dolly has several years’ experience applying her IT education and knowledge in different sectors including Banking, Web Hosting, Telecom, Healthcare and Communications.
Akin Aliu
Akin is an experienced Senior Systems Specialist with many years' experience working in the non-profit organization management industry. Skilled in Business Process, Databases, IT Service Management, and IT Strategy; Akin is an accomplished Information Technology professional. His educational background includes a master’s degree (with a focus in Computing for Business Management) from University of Central England. He is a former Director of Systems with Davina Consulting Inc.; an IT company which specializes in providing IT Consultancy to Non-Government organizations.
Deji Okubadejo
Deji Okubadejo is an anaesthesia and chronic pain consultant in the UK. He has held leadership positions including clinical director and associate medical director roles in the NHS and had board level roles with NHS Clinical Commissioning Groups and as Group Medical Director in the independent healthcare sector. Deji leads a project on improvement of the quality of education at Igbobi College Yaba, Lagos, Nigeria and also in improving access to quality education for disadvantaged children in Lagos. He is also the chair of the board of OBIC UK; an organization working to improve the educational attainment of black children in the UK.
